Wrestling, or Shuai Jiao, is one of the oldest forms
of Chinese martial arts, which developed into a complete system
within itself over thousands of years. Wrestling is also one of
the main components of traditional taijiquan (tai chi chuan)
martial arts training. Taiji Shuai Jiao teaches the skills of
destroying an opponent's root and balance, and various
takedowns. Experience a private lesson with one of the world's
foremost masters of Chinese martial arts, as Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming
instructs Taiji Wrestling applications that can be found within
all styles of Taiji, utilizing leg sweeping, tripping, bumping,
throwing, and many other techniques. |

Course 1 focuses on applying Shuai Jiao techniques found in
Crossed Pushing Hands, in which opponents face each other with
right hand to right hand, or left hand to left hand:
1. Grasp the Sparrow's Tail - Right Thigh Bump 2. Grasp the Sparrow's Tail - Left 3. Press-Bump 4. Small Rollback 5. Large Rollback 1 & 2 6. The Crane Spreads Its Wings 7. Single Whip 8. Single Whip variation 9. Brush Knee and Step Forward 10. Play the Guitar Lift Hands to the Up Posture 11. Step Back and Repulse the Monkey 12. Pick Up the Needle from the Sea Bottom 13. Strike the Tiger Posture 14. The Snake Creeps Down 15. Cross Hands The Crane Spreads Its Wings 16. The Fair Lady Weaves with Shuttle 17. Seal Tightly

Parallel Pushing Hands, in which opponents face each other with
opposite hands: right hand to left hand, and left hand to right
hand. 1. Grasp the Sparrow's Tail 2. Single Whip 3. Press or Squeeze 4. The Crane Spreads Its Wings 5. Play the Guitar Lift Hands to the Up Posture 6. Fan Back 7.
